Lerone Allen was born in Kingston, Jamaica on December 10, 1984 to Noel and Lorna Allen. She lived in Jamaica with her parents and sisters Christine and Noleene, until 1995 when the family moved to Florida. She spent her high school years at the best school in North Miami, Miami Union Academy, then moved to Tennessee where she completed a Bachelors in Psychology from Southern Adventist University.
After graduating, she moved to Silver Spring, MD (where she met Murray) and worked as a legislative fellow at the General Conference. Following her fellowship, Lerone moved to New York to complete a Masters in Social-Organizational Psychology. She returned to Maryland in 2010 after graduating and currently works as a Consultant at Gallup, Inc in Washington, DC.
Lerone enjoys reading John Grisham, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Edgar Allan Poe. She also loves the performing arts, two of her favorite performances being Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Phantom of the Opera and Cats. She enjoys spending time with Murray when he is not trying to spar with her, practice his martial arts moves on her, or poke her on her nose.
